The Separator – Pin Over Bar separates the thermoformed model from the aligner foil using a mechanical hook that engages a bar integrated into the printed model.
Unlike conventional separation methods, no separating threads are required.
This simplifies handling and eliminates recurring consumable costs.
Standard adapters are available for common thermoforming devices, including Scheu Ministar™, Scheu Biostar™, Erkodent Erkofrom™, Erkodent Erkpress Motion™ and Dreve Dentamid Drufomat Scan.
The adapter and vacuum plate are combined into a single component for the respective thermoforming unit.

Place the thermoformed model on the cover plate and lift the aligner foil to position the hook over the printed bar.

Move the lever towards the stop on the separator body to engage the mechanical separation process.

Continue pressing the lever until the model is fully released from the aligner foil and ready for further processing.
